'VR World' is enabling consumers to play with the idea of death this Halloween season through a [spooky narrative-driven story line](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deetz-residence) which offers users a chance to experience coming back to life from the dead.

Spanning across three floors, guests are invited to choose from over 55 [virtual reality experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/immersion-vr), with genres ranging from sci-fi to documentary-based. More recently, VR World partnered with Portal Experiences to produce 'Flatline Emergency Room,' a seven minute VR experience which enables an individual to relive the [near death experience](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/escape-the-afterlife) of Gloria Hippie, which occurred in a New Jersey military hospital ward in 1955.

The company describes these story lines as a pivotal transition from "storytelling to story living," which adds an even greater layer of immersion to one's experience.
