In place of the traditional plug prongs, this lamp sports a USB cable that allows it to access power for similar ports. A perfect portable alternative for geeks who can't do without technology surrounding them at all times, even on those rare camping trips, the Voltaic USB Touchlight also sports a rather futuristic aesthetic. At home just about anywhere, the Voltaic USB Touchlight will light up small rooms and tents luminously. It is also waterproof, which is perfect for adventurous types. Complete with a patent-pending lens, the lamp simply needs to be tapped to change between three brightness levels. It can be hung like a pendant light or secured to the included flex cable. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 35% | Activity: 14% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Portable Lighting Solutions:** The Voltaic USB Touchlight represents a trend in portable lighting solutions, providing a convenient and high-tech alternative for on-the-go individuals. - **Usb-powered Lamps:** The use of USB cables as a power source for lamps, like the Voltaic USB Touchlight, is a growing trend that offers flexibility and convenience in accessing power. - **Waterproof Lighting:** The Voltaic USB Touchlight's waterproof feature reflects a trend in the lighting industry for products that cater to adventurous individuals in outdoor settings. ### Where This Applies - **Technology:** The technology industry can benefit from the disruptive innovation of portable lighting solutions like the Voltaic USB Touchlight, providing new opportunities for integrating lighting with tech gadgets. - **Camping and Outdoor Equipment:** The camping and outdoor equipment industry can tap into the trend of waterproof lighting, offering rugged and durable lighting options for adventurous individuals. - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can explore the trend of USB-powered lamps, incorporating these sleek and convenient lighting solutions into modern home and office designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Portable Telescopic Lanterns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outask.md) - [Ultra-Flexible Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anywhereuse-lamp.md) - [Rechargeable Portable Torch Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/piton-portable-lamp.md) - [3-in-1 Desk Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/biancinoti.md) - [Multipurpose Camping Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camping-lights.md) - [Miniature Camping Flashlights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hoto-flashlight-duo.md) - [Conical Multifunctional Lamp Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-table-light.md) - [Flexible Orientation Camper Flashlights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flexit-pocket-light.md) - [Stylish Outdoor Illumination Lanterns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-outdoor-lantern.md)
