There are hundreds of ways to message your friends, family and loved ones via your smartphone these days and the ChitChat [voice messaging app](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/karri) recently added another platform for you to do so from. This app cleverly allows smartphone users to record audio messages and send them to one another in walkie-talkie style.

Everyone enjoys hearing the sound of the person's voice that they want to talk to over a basic and distant text message. While there is the option of phone calls that target this very need, sometimes people can't reply to a call instantly due to other demands. The ChitChat app allows you to combine the intimacy of voice alongside the convenience of leaving a text message into one nifty app. Much like [SnapChat](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snapchat-4), the ChitChat app will automatically delete the messages after they've been listened to.
