The Vogue Spain May 2012 'La Dama Blanca' photoshoot is set in a sunny graveyard. Although not the usual spot for a high fashion spread, Hungarian model Eniko Mihalik pulled it off effortlessly, somehow making the morbid scene appear dainty and appropriate.
Mihalik has risen to fame in her industry as a result of her epic collaborations with the critically acclaimed artistic duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. This time however, she worked with photographer Victor Demarchelier, yet again displaying her ability to master almost any venture. The billowing white dresses worn by Mihalik here resonate well with the cemetery motif, according a lighter approach to a dark subject. These clever apparel choices were executed by stylist Melanie Huynh, and were further played up on with flower-ensconced crowns.
