The Vogue Netherlands July 2014 editorial featuring model Drake Burnette takes users on a fashionable trip back to the 1990s. In each image, Burnette is found clad in faded denim, a decision made on behalf of stylist Dimphy Den Otter.
Otter teased out the best of the decade with some modern additions. Although Burnette wore classic Levi's high rise jeans, she also sported athletic bomber jackets and a cropped crew neck sweater, pieces that are best suited to today's looks and styles.
Photographer Annemarieke Van Drimmelen met the reto motif of this Vogue Netherlands production with faded finishes and black and white backdrops. By doing away with high resolution and bright colors, Drimmelen managed to channel the time period which was characterized largely by grunge.
