# Self-Watering Plant Pots The Vivo Pot by Ivan Zhurba Functions as a Desk Light and Decor By Amy Duong | Published 2022-11-23 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vivo-pot References: [yankodesign](https://www.yankodesign.com/2022/11/21/this-self-sufficient-plant-pot-is-also-a-beautiful-desk-light-and-decoration/) & [ideell.co](https://ideell.co/) Ivan Zhurba designs the new Vivo pot, which functions as much more than just a [plant pot](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balconyfarm-pot) -- it also works as a beautiful [desk lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/indoor-gardening-1) or simply as a piece of home decor. It has a sleek design and smart features including [self-watering capabilities](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plant-irrigation) to keep the plants healthy and beautiful. It requires little to no involvement from users as the maintenance is entirely taken care of with the COB LEDs, which is a chip-on-board. When the pot is not used or holding a plant, it is able to close up. This creates a structure that resembles the look of an egg with curved grooves around the body to create a dynamic look that is perfect as a piece of decor.
