The collection is a series of vibrant and colorful images taken from architecturally unique structures in metropolitan areas. Despite being visually complex, much of the details captured in the series are quite minimalist. The images in Temptations vary from jagged balconies, different sized windows and undulating building facades in Copenhagen and Malmö. Many of the architectural details are geometric in nature, yet create a dizzying visual effect. Frank and Hägglund were able to capture such vivid images at precise angles that showcase each of the building's unique details. The duo make an effort to photograph eye-catching and vibrant structures, giving the collection a whimsical and playful touch. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 47% | Activity: 16% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Vivid Urban Photography:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Developing augmented reality (AR) platforms or apps that overlay interactive elements onto urban photography, enhancing the viewer's experience. - **Architectural Minimalism:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Creating a marketplace for minimalist architectural designs, connecting architects, designers, and clients who value simplicity and clean lines. - **Geometric Aesthetics:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Introducing 3D printing technology to architectural firms to facilitate the construction of complex geometric designs more efficiently. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Photography:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Developing AI-powered image recognition software that automatically identifies and tags architectural features in urban photography, saving photographers time and effort. - **Architecture:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Incorporating virtual reality (VR) technologies into the design process to allow architects to experience and modify their creations in a virtual environment before construction begins. - **Visual Arts:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Combining urban photography and interactive multimedia elements to create immersive art installations that engage audiences and blur the boundaries between traditional and digital art. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ultra-Colorful High-Density Residential Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/highdensity-residential-design.md) - [Paper Curvature Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paper-curves.md) - [Optical Illusion Replica Artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/liberty-science-center.md) - [Colorful Rooftop Unified Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nantou-hybrid-building.md) - [Neon Illustation-Donned Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crafted-world-exhibition-1.md) - [Bubblegum Street Art Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hubbabubbabuilding.md) - [Skyscraper-Inspired Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ben-ganz.md) - [Inflatable Vibrant Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-dancer.md) - [Interactive Architectural Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-landscape.md)
