# Upside Down Shower Sprinklers The VITEO Shower is a Gravity-Defying Garden Sprinkler By Jessica Marren | Published 2013-05-23 | Eco Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/viteo-shower References: [donotbuythis](http://donotbuythis.com/gravity-defying-upside-down-garden-shower) & [outdoorshower.at](http://outdoorshower.at/showershop/) VITEO shower is an upside down [outdoor sprinkler](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/turtle-splash-and-bubbles) that reverses the way we usually get clean. Attach this compact sprinkler to a [garden hose](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rinsekit-tailgate-shower) and step on the surface to start the water. For as long as you stand on the censored pad, water will spray up at you. This is an interestingly new way to shower, which simply switches the direction of water flow. The VITEO shower is lightweight and portable. One of the most desirable features of this product is that it is unlike [conventional sprinklers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alu) in that you are constantly in complete control of where the water sprays and when. Without someone standing on the base of the sprinkler water will not spray. This means only when you are ready to wash off and take a bold step onto the shower will you get drenched. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.8/10 - Popularity: 86% | Activity: 81% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Upside Down Shower Sprinklers:** The VITEO Shower presents an innovative way to shower by reversing the direction of water flow. - **Controlled Outdoor Water Sprinklers:** VITEO's use of censored pads gives users full control of when and where water sprays, representing a disruptive innovation opportunity for outdoor sprinkler systems. - **Portable Outdoor Showers:** The VITEO shower's lightweight design provides a new opportunity for portable and easy-to-use outdoor shower systems. ### Where This Applies - **Outdoor Showers/spas:** The VITEO Shower will disrupt the outdoor shower industry by offering a new and unique way to get clean outside. - **Smart Home/iot:** VITEO's use of sensors and controlled pads in their shower system opens up innovative possibilities for smart home and Internet of Things (IoT) devices. - **Gardening/landscaping:** The VITEO Shower represents an innovative add-on to traditional outdoor sprinkler systems and could disrupt the gardening and landscaping industry with its unique and controlled water dispersal techniques. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Fully Integrated Smart Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-shower-head.md) - [Ice-Filled Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glacial-shower-shower-head.md) - [Temperature-Displaying Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/invispace.md) - [Self-Powered Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ung-water-enhancer.md) - [Sleek Self-Pleasure Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/womanizer-wave.md) - [Air-Induction Showerheads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kohlers-statement-ves.md) - [Naturally Inspired Body Dryers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sumsei-air-shower.md) - [Portable Shower Machines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yoomiily.md) - [WiFi-Enabled Circular Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/circular-shower.md)
