Talking and staring at you as if they had a mind of their own, perhaps even keeping you wide awake while you are in bed. Well these creepy vintage ventriloquist dummies will sure have the same effect. Ventriloquy, is a stage act where the ventriloquist manipulates their voice to make it seem like the dummy is actually talking. Sounds innocent right? Just like the good old days when your kindergarten teacher performs a puppet show on their hands. But wait, add flapping mouths, bulging eyeballs and big plastic heads that swerve in every direction and you've got a whole new nightmare. Who knew a gadget so primitive and unreal can haunt the heck out of us? ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.3/10 - Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Circus-Inspired Spreads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christina-aguilera-madam-x-out-magazine.md) - [Creepy Child-Like Captures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/doll-dull-old.md) - [Creepy Realistic Pencil Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fredo-3d-art.md) - [Discarded Dummy Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mannequin-morgue-by-esther-tetris.md) - [Creepy Mannequins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disturbing-mannequins-eerie-collection-of-fake-humans.md) - [Dummy Carvertising](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/adventure-dummy-on-a-car.md) - [Creepy Hair Caves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hair-museum-of-avanos.md)
