A beautifully preserved and authentically vintage apartment has been discovered in Paris after being abandoned for 70 years.

After years of dust bunnies taking over the space, this [opulent home](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chteau-la-banquire), which belonged to Madame de Florian, a [Parisian socialite](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxury-home-fragrance) and actress, has been nicknamed the [Parisian 'Time Capsule' Apartment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nytillverkad-time-capsule). The apartment was introduced to the world when Florian's (lucky) heirs were impressed with all the little gems found inside.

Still closed to the public, the apartment boasts some pretty juicy love notes between Florian and 19th century Italian painter Giovanni Boldini, as well as a painting of Florian in a pink dress.

Florian had to abandon her super chic abode in World War II during the Paris Nazi raid, and never returned.
