The 'Shoreham Vineyard House' is designed by [Jackson Clements Burrows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jackson-hole) and is created to act like a haven for its owners from the stress that come with the work week. This relaxing abode is located in a vineyard on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula in Australia. Both earthy and luxurious, the vineyard home has an understated and casual design approach which makes the space feel airy and fresh. Looking like a linear wooden box, the 'Shoreham Vineyard House' is [nestled atop a cliff](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/intaaya-retreat) giving it unobstructed and breathtaking views of the port and landscape below. What makes this house so unique and novel is its descending roof, its [climate-controlled wine room](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wine-storehouse) and its stunning veranda overlooking the vineyard. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 35% | Activity: 15% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Nature-inspired Retreats:** Designing retreats that blend seamlessly with the natural environment, providing a sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation. - **Luxury Vineyard Homes:** Creating high-end residential properties within vineyards, offering a unique combination of luxury living and wine country experience. - **Innovative Architectural Elements:** Exploring and implementing novel design elements like descending roofs, climate-controlled wine rooms, and verandas to enhance the aesthetics and functionality of homes. ### Where This Applies - **Hospitality:** Developing vineyard retreats and hotels that provide an immersive nature-centric experience for relaxation and wine tourism. - **Luxury Real Estate:** Catering to affluent buyers seeking exclusive properties in vineyards, combining the allure of luxury living and access to wine production. - **Architecture and Design:** Pushing the boundaries of residential architecture by incorporating innovative elements and sustainable solutions in vineyard home designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cliffside Minimalist Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aip-azia-villa.md) - [Glass-Stretched Wine Region Expansions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sonoma-wine.md) - [Hilltop Modern Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-cloud-house.md) - [Chilean Hillside Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-in-three-heights.md) - [Coastal Timber Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cornwall-retreat.md) - [Organic Coastal Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diachok-architects.md) - [Clay Ridge Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/birdwood-house.md) - [Glass Philosophical Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-ridge.md) - [Purpose-Built Terraced Wineries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quinta-de-adorigo.md)
