The sleek mean design is built for sheer performance and should not be seen by the faint of heart. The Schneider Cup was a [performance flying competition](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stavatti-aerospace-sm39-razor) for pilots between World War I and World War II. Competitors battle for supremacy in the skies. Montreuil’s [futuristic seaplane](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tidal-flight) doesn’t resemble the planes of the early 20th century; however, it packs a punch and isn’t too hard to look at either. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.1/10 - Popularity: 68% | Activity: 47% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **High-performance Seaplanes:** A trend towards designing seaplanes with advanced performance capabilities presents opportunities for disruptive innovations in aviation. ### Who This Affects Most - **Aviation:** The aviation industry can explore the development of high-performance seaplanes to enhance speed and efficiency in air travel. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Plane-Inspired Vehicle Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mercedesbenz-concept-vehicle.md) - [Shell-Like Premium Speed Boats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jet-capsule-super-sport.md) - [Supersonic Aircraft-Inspired EVs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/concorde-20.md) - [War Plane-Inspired Off-Grid Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/monocoque-cabin.md) - [Hydrodynamic Avian-Inspired Yachts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wakinyan-catamaran-yacht.md) - [Hydrofoil-Equipped Yacht Tenders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alte-volare-yacht-tender.md) - [Haute Electric Cruising Boats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/persico-zagato-1002-hyperboat.md) - [Water-Ready Sports Car Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/citron-above-and-under.md) - [Supercar-Inspired Submersibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uboat-worx-super-sub.md)
