# Undulating Luber Cabanas Villas Tarabini by Sanzpont Were Planned with Paradise in Mind By Amelia Roblin | Published 2011-06-13 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villas-tarabini-by-sanzpont References: [evolo.us](http://www.evolo.us/architecture/villas-tarabini-in-playa-del-carmen-mexico-sanzpont-arquitectura/) & [sanzpont](http://www.sanzpont.com/) As beautiful as a dwelling may be, a big part of its positive experiential effect comes from the landscape that surrounds it. The [Villas Tarabini](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-bo) by Sanzpont Architectura demonstrate the way in which this cluster of [beach-side cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/suuel-hotel) make the best of their paradisal setting. The topography that extends away from the Playa del Carmen, Mexico, does not match the flat nature of the seashore. With [undulating lawns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-av), the grounds and the adjacent golf course beg the architecture for some dimensional diversity which affords great views and establishes a delightful built scene as well. Additional efforts were made to let the Villas Tarabini by Sanzpont Architectura react with the natural world, including some passive ventilation systems and the inclusion of structural wooden blinds. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 73% | Activity: 54% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Undulating Landscaping:** Harnessing the natural topography to create dimensional diversity in architectural designs. - **Integration with Nature:** Incorporating passive ventilation systems and structural elements that interact harmoniously with the environment. - **Experiential Architecture:** Designing structures that optimize the viewer's experience of the surrounding landscape. ### Where This Applies - **Real Estate:** Opportunity for architects and developers to create unique, nature-integrated properties that enhance appeal and value. - **Hospitality:** Hotels and resorts can utilize undulating landscapes and experiential architecture to provide guests with a truly immersive and unforgettable stay. - **Golf Course Design:** Incorporating the natural topography and undulating lawns in golf course design to provide a challenging experience while offering breathtaking views for players. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Minimal Ocean-Overlooking Villas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/achiot-villas.md) - [Nature-Inspired Hilltop Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/las-rocas.md) - [Sustainable Canopy Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-solai.md) - [Coastal Terraced Villas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-bo.md) - [Eco-Friendly Luxury Villas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/land-villas.md) - [Rustic Seaside Coastal Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-tobi.md) - [Off-Grid Oceanside Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/campos-studio.md) - [Nature-Connecting Tranquil Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/al-suave-house.md) - [Organic Coastal Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diachok-architects.md)
