# Meticulously Lit Architecture The Villa Noord-Brabant is Illuminated with Precision By Jamie Danielle Munro | Published 2014-06-27 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-noordbrabant References: [designboom](http://www.designboom.com/architecture/dpl-europe-villa-noord-brabant-lights-architecture-06-27-2014/) & [dpl-europe](http://www.dpl-europe.com/) The [Villa Noord-Brabant](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-minimale) is located in the Netherlands, and DPL Architecture took special attention to light the abode in a specific manner. According to DesignBoom, "the deliberate choice for [indirect LED lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/immersive-lighting-experience) accentuates the clean lines of the exterior... [and] a spatial effect is created on the interior through the utilization of fixtures that present the illusion of three-dimensional light-columns." Usually many individuals consider the lighting as an afterthought, but after examining this house by DPL Europe it's clear that these small details make a significant difference. At night, the house looks much larger for example due to the placement of various illuminators. Moreover, the lighting helps to create a certain mood for the home, allowing people to feel more comfortable and cozy with the different hues used in the rooms.
