# Red Steel Forest Houses Villa Jevany by Architektura Embeds a Bold Structure into Hillside Terrain By Amy Duong | Published 2026-03-26 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-jevany References: [archi.cz](https://archi.cz/) Villa Jevany by Architektura is a residential project set within the spruce forests of Jevany in the Czech Republic, defined by its saturated red steel exterior. Local studio Architektura positions the house by carving it into a steep sloping site rather than placing it above ground, embedding the structure directly into the landscape. The exterior uses red as a deliberate contrast against the surrounding greenery, with irregular window compositions referencing geometric painting and framing views of the forest. The interior is arranged across five levels, beginning with a high-ceiling entrance that leads into a central living space described as the main day zone. Materials shift between white walls, black detailing, and stone surfaces, with a kitchen anchored by reddish stone counters and a steel fireplace. Private rooms are positioned along a corridor with built-in storage, while terraces and balconies extend outward into the tree canopy.
