Video game mash-ups help to blend a little bit of the unnatural with reality and this set of creations by artist Butcher Billy puts punk superstar Sid Vicious directly into the Mushroom Kingdom of Super Mario. The collection of illustrations replace the typical Mario and Princess Peach with Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen for what is surely a badass representation of both pairs.

Video game culture is quite passionate with those who ascribe to the label gamer as being genuinely so. As such, it's interesting when artists take on the gaming world with vibrant illustrations that put real life personalities in the place of fictional characters. I'm not sure if Sid and Nancy would appreciate being put in such a role, but the results are quite killer and definitely going to adored by geeks alike.
