Originally meant as a research tool for helping people with Alzheimer's disease, the Vicon Revue has several interesting features including the ability to take automatic photos triggered by sensors such as body heat, light and motion. So, if you've ever wanted to document your life but never had the hardware--or the free hands--to do so, the Vicon Revue is for you. (Also if a reality show of your life is on your to-do list.) ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 12% | Activity: 32% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Multimedia](https://www.trendhunter.com/multimedia) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Life-caching Technology:** The Vicon Revue presents an innovative life-caching technology that automatically captures photos throughout the day. - **Wearable Cameras:** The Vicon Revue showcases the potential of wearable camera technology for convenient and hands-free photography. - **Sensor-triggered Photography:** The Vicon Revue highlights the growing trend of sensor-triggered photography, using body heat, light, and motion sensors. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Photography:** The photography industry can explore disruptive innovation opportunities by developing advanced wearable cameras like the Vicon Revue. - **Healthcare:** The healthcare industry can leverage the Vicon Revue's sensor technology to create innovative solutions for monitoring and supporting patients with Alzheimer's disease. - **Personal Documentation:** The Vicon Revue opens up opportunities in the personal documentation industry, providing a seamless and automated way to capture memories and experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Anticipating Camera Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/recordback-precatch-camera.md) - [Camera-Equipped Exercise Vests](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-urban-eyes-vest.md) - [Setting-Describing Wearable Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seekr.md) - [Pebble-Shaped Vlogging Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kyu-camera.md) - [Handsfree Miniature Wearable Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dji-osmo-nano.md) - [Pet-Taken Camera Initiatives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heartography.md) - [Compact Body Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compact-body-camera.md) - [Tactile Digital Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camera-1.md) - [Point-and-Shoot-Inspired Action Cams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sony-cybershot.md)
