The wall features ten or more pieces of used plastic cups that were collected and put in a very simple flexible metal holder system. Naturwall can be used as a decorative wall or a separator to be placed or hung indoors. This carbon-free system aims to reuse plastic waste while it enables do-it-yourself decoration in a sustainable way. Everyone can easily create unlimited variations of vertical green walls in eco-sensitive manners for improving the quality of the environment. With the help of these systems, customers can create more and more green walls to reduce carbon rates. Naturwall was designed by Dr. Hakan Gürsu and Designnobis, and holds a Green Dot 2008 Build Award. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.1/10 - Popularity: 81% | Activity: 95% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Vertical Green Walls:** Creating vertical green walls using reused plastic cups as plant pots. - **Sustainable Decoration:** Enabling eco-sensitive decoration using reusable materials. - **Carbon Reduction:** Utilizing green walls to reduce carbon rates. ### Who This Affects Most - **Interior Design:** Integrating vertical green walls in interior design projects. - **Sustainability:** Developing products and solutions to promote sustainability. - **Waste Management:** Creating systems to reuse and repurpose discarded materials. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Bio-Based Single-Use Cups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/verigreen-plus.md) - [Urban Coffee Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coffee-carriers.md) - [Biotransformable Cup Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/verigreen.md) - [Recycled Packaging Planter Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tetra-pak-and-keter.md) - [Tech-Enabled Reusable Cups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/caulicups.md) - [Vertical Workstation Wall Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-wall-planter.md) - [Pocket-Sized Collapsible Coffee Cups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zerowaste-cup.md) - [Sustainable Edible Cups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/haeckels-3.md) - [Building Block Wall Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-organizer-and-messfree-planter.md)
