[Chic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/central-flying-tourbillon) and contemporary, it has a bigger personality than its dimensions thanks to the use of a tall backrest as well as a useful tabletop that is built-in to its sides. This latter detail is what makes the versatile daybed so practical. Yet it is hard to ignore how pretty it is as well. Conceived during a workshop held by 11 New York-based designers including Italian designer Luca Nichetto in collaboration with Design-Apart and Berto, the versatile daybed is dubbed 3sofa4manhattan. It was specifically created by Valeria Moiseeva and Joe Graceffa. A reflection of New Yorker's mindframe, the versatile daybed would nevertheless make a great addition to any home. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.6/10 - Popularity: 81% | Activity: 48% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Chic Versatile Daybeds:** The trend of chic, versatile daybeds is on the rise, providing innovative solutions for small living spaces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Design:** The furniture design industry can capitalize on the growing demand for chic, versatile daybeds to cater to urban dwellers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Versatile Sofa-Bed Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neptune-sofa.md) - [Versatile Modular Couches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/transformer-couch-20.md) - [Hybrid Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/adaptable-sofa-system.md) - [Motorized Sofa Wall Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tonale.md) - [Beachside Modern Daybed Setups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contour-daybed.md) - [Laidback Modular Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/natuzzi-bao.md) - [Expanding Three-in-One Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/expandy.md) - [Collapsible Timber Sofa Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ospite-folding-sofa.md) - [Adaptive Furniture Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/expand-furniture.md)
