# Chunky Tablet Chargers The 'Venus of Cupertino' iPad Dock is Sturdy Support for Apple Products By Senduran Bhakthakumaran | Published 2012-04-16 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/venus-of-cupertino-ipad-dock References: [notcot.org](http://www.notcot.org/post/47367/) & [scott-eaton](http://www.scott-eaton.com/2011/ipad-docking-station) One can add a bit of tasteful decor to their desktop with this 'Venus of Cupertino' [iPad](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elago-magnetic-stand-for-ipad) [docking station](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/docking-station) by Scott Eaton. It is a device that can charge all three generations of the iPad and it maintains a look of modern elegance while doing so. The piece depicts an oversized person that is sitting cross-legged and holding an iPad. Therefore users will place the iPad in the hands and lap of the sculpture when wanting to charge it. It looks as if the figure is reading the screen of the iPad, which is what makes this device so artistic. The charger dock is hidden in the rolls of this chunky charger and visitors will probably think it is a mere dock that doesn't charge.
