Robert Jahns Altered Snaps of Venice Canals to Appear Frozen

Photographer and Photoshop enthusiast Robert Jahns has turned the Venice Canals into ice -- not actually, but artificially. Robert, who is also known as nois7 on Instagram, transformed Venice's waters so that they would look more Icelandic.

The photographer tends to take amazing photos and artificially alter one part of them to add that "WOW" factor. He recently displayed similar alterations in a daredevil stunt series that went viral on the Internet.

While this series' scenes of Venice are surreal, they could have been a reality; in 2012 the "Big Freeze" in Europe caused large clumps of ice to form in the canals. However, it wasn't nearly comparable to the frozen waters depicted in Robert's photos.
