The new cinema camera builds on its predecessor, the VENICE, adding a host of new features while maintaining its compact design. New features of the VENICE 2 include internal recording and the option to swap between two sensors: the original 6K VENICE sensor or the newly developed [full-frame 8.6K sensor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sony-lytia-901). When equipped with the new 8.6K sensor, the VENICE 2 offers exceptional image quality with 16 stops of latitude. As a result, users can expect top-quality images, color separation, and shadow detail. In addition, the VENICE 2 comes with a dual base ISO of 800/3200 that allows users to capture clear images in a wider range of lighting conditions. The new camera is scheduled to begin shipping out in February 2022.
