Over the years, Velveeta has "enhanced a variety of dishes, including nachos, hamburgers, vegetables, and ramen—with the introduction of Vel2Go, the brand is now expanding its product offerings to include a portable cheese option." In response to the growing demand for on-the-go condiments, particularly among Millennials and Gen Z, Vel2Go provides an easy solution for cheese enthusiasts to elevate their meals, providing the same convenience as ketchup packets. Whether "drizzling it on fast food fries or topping a hot dog, this product ensures a convenient way to satisfy cheesy cravings." Furthermore, the launch of Vel2Go builds on Velveeta's previous introduction of ready-to-eat queso, reinforcing the brand's commitment to diversifying its formats.
