Reconstruction of the façade of the building did not include a new color, but instead the firm replaced it with a completely vegetal and natural makeover. This building was part of the Green Side-Wall project where the emphasis was placed on [increasing greenery on original architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/urban-green). Vertical Garden is 21-meters high and is supported by a steel structure. Metal platforms with different levels have bird-nesters and a [mix of planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hydroponics-garden). Noise reduction items that produce oxygen and carbon dioxide absorption are also featured. These green thinking architects transformed this once plain wall into a garden full of life. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.4/10 - Popularity: 63% | Activity: 90% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) > [Eco Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/ecoarchitecture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Vertical Gardening:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop innovative techniques and technologies to enable vertical gardening in urban environments, maximizing greenery and promoting sustainable living. - **Green Architecture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore eco-friendly building materials, designs, and techniques to create sustainable and environmentally responsible structures that incorporate nature. - **Urban Greenery:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create innovative solutions for increasing green spaces in densely populated cities, improving air quality, and enhancing the overall well-being of urban residents. ### Who This Affects Most - **Construction:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate green building practices and sustainable materials into construction processes, reducing the ecological footprint of new structures. - **Urban Planning:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate urban greenery and vertical gardening concepts into city planning strategies, fostering sustainable and livable urban environments. - **Environmental Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop advanced technologies and systems that enhance the efficiency and sustainability of vertical gardening and green architecture, revolutionizing urban landscapes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Eco Living Vertical Towers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eden-rise-vertical.md) - [Plant-Filled Latticed Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/touching-eden-house.md) - [Greenery-Filled Skyscraper Terrarium](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terrarium-cheongdam.md) - [Nature-Connecting Design Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vert-installation.md) - [Plant-Covered Concrete Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-kd45.md) - [Gardening Furniture Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/verda-garden.md) - [Planted Balcony Home Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-of-greens.md) - [Living Landscape Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hedge-and-arbour-house.md) - [Forest Tower Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wonderwoods-vertical-forest.md)
