This vegan tuna salad is a light and healthy meal for summer. Adhering to animal-free diet restrictions, the recipe from Oh My Veggies is quick, easy and fresh. The meal is made with artificial tuna that is store bought and infused with vegetable proteins.

Topping a salad mix of fresh parsley, chopped celery, onions and fresh lemon juice, this vegan tuna is garnished with raw almonds and roasted sunflower seeds. Once ready to consume, the recipe is accented with a hint of salt and pepper for added flavor.

As meatless diets become more common among millennials, food bloggers and recognized brands are working to create animal-free versions of crowd favorites. In addition to imitation chicken and beef, this vegan tuna salad features no animal bi-products.
