[v2food's](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/v2food) plant-based meat alternatives are being incorporated into products like [vegan steamed buns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bbq-pork-piggy-bao), noodle dishes and ready meals that target curious Chinese consumers. In collaboration with food producers, v2food is working its vegan soy-based meat into a range of dishes that reimagine classic local meals in a culturally relevant way.

To make sure that the pork-like v2mince and other meatless products would be relevant to Chinese consumers, the Australian food tech "worked closely with Chinese butchers and chefs to develop great-tasting bespoke pork, designed for the Chinese palette," as described by Cyrus Pan, v2food general manager for China.

v2food will also be introducing Western-style dishes like [plant-based lasagne and sausage rolls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/walls-pastry-vegan-range) via Food Vending.
