Knowing that many consumers are now embracing plant-based eating with vegetarian or flexitarian diets, [Taco Bell](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beyond-carne-asada-steak) created a vegan food guide for its menu.

The 'How to Eat Vegan at Taco Bell' guide features a selection of nine customized cruelty-free menu options, which modify classic menu options with either ingredient additions or subtractions. For instance, the [Crunchwrap Supreme](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/steak-queso-crunchwrap-sliders) can be made without seasoned beef, sour cream and nacho cheese and fortified with black beans.

Just a few months earlier, Taco Bell released a guide on 'How to Eat Vegetarian and Meatless at Taco Bell,' which shows off a range of its [American Vegetarian Association](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nacho-fries-with-vegan-nacho-sauce)-certified food options. Now, vegans will also have peace of mind knowing that Taco Bell has expanded its AVA-certified list to include vegan ingredients.
