# Seamless Quilted Lighting The Vases Lampara by Vondom Has a Fluid Aesthetic By Meghan Young | Published 2012-01-25 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vases-lampara References: [trendir](http://www.trendir.com/archives/006079.html) & [vondom](http://www.vondom.com/) The Vases Lampara may look like a typical floor lamp, but upon closer inspection it becomes apparent that it has unique details that set it apart. First, it is a seamless light fixture that does not have any typical detachable features such as a stand and lampshade, giving it a sinuous aesthetic. Secondly, its lampshade features a unique diamond-shaped pattern that makes it look quilted. Designed by Spanish company Vondom, the Vases Lampara has a romantic vibe that is also contemporary. Subtly chic when lit, the Vases Lampara emits a gentle glow on its immediate surroundings. It is conveniently controlled by a remote and has seven color options in addition to a dynamic setting of ever-changing hues. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 30% | Activity: 54% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Seamless Lighting Fixtures:** As seen in Vondom's Vases Lampara, light fixtures designed without detachable parts provide a sinuous and unique aesthetic for contemporary interiors. - **Quilted Lampshades:** The diamond-shaped quilting pattern of the Vases Lampara's lampshade offers a unique and eye-catching feature to contemporary lighting designs. - **Dynamic Color Settings:** Light fixtures that offer a dynamic setting of ever-changing hues, as seen in the Vases Lampara, provide a unique and personalized lighting experience for consumers. ### Who This Affects Most - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate seamless and unique lighting fixtures, such as the Vases Lampara, to add a personalized touch to contemporary interiors. - **Lighting Design:** Lighting designers can innovate by incorporating unique quilting patterns, like the diamond-shaped pattern seen in the Vases Lampara's lampshade, into their lighting designs. - **Smart Home Technology:** Companies working on smart home technology can incorporate ever-changing dynamic color settings, as seen in the Vases Lampara, to provide a personalized and customizable lighting experience for consumers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Rechargeable Illuminating Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bouquet.md) - [Balloon-Like Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soft-blown.md) - [Origami-Inspired Vase Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gingko-smart-vase-light.md) - [Molten Glass Lighting Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foscarini-1.md) - [Hollow Candle-Like Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lampe.md) - [Sleek Tonal Portable Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quesar.md) - [Scenic Architecture Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/architecture-inspired-table-lamp.md) - [Brutalist Bedside Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vestige-lamp.md) - [Glowing Tubular Light Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/array-lighting.md)
