# Bizarre Antique Finds The Vampire Slaying Kit By Cowbag | Published 2008-09-18 | Unique Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vampire-slaying-kit-really-cool-antiques References: [odditycentral](http://www.odditycentral.com/pics/the-vampire-slaying-kit.html) This curious vampire slaying kit was sold on eBay as an was apparently genuine 19th Century kit. Naturally, it was made in Transylvania. Rather brilliantly, the vampire-slaying kit contained contains everything a vampire slayer would need: Bottles of holy water Syringe for injecting liquid garlic A 13.1 inch beautifully encrusted knife An old Bible Several wooden spikes A hammer (for the stake) A cross It all came in a vintage metal box and suffice it to say the item received several bids. I would have been massively tempted if I had found this before it was sold. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 54% | Activity: 30% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Bizarre](https://www.trendhunter.com/bizarre) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Antique Supernatural Collector's Items:** Increasing popularity and demand for genuine antique supernatural collector's items. - **Personalized Supernatural Defense Kits:** Creation and sale of personalized supernatural defense kits as a curiosity or for practical use. - **Unique Vintage Collections:** The ongoing appreciation for unique and bizarre vintage collections. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Antiques and Curios:** The antiques and curios industry could capitalize on the trend for bizarre and unique vintage finds. - **Defense Gear:** The defense gear industry could take inspiration from this vampire slaying kit and create personalized supernatural defense kits. - **E-commerce:** E-commerce platforms like eBay could benefit from the increasing popularity and demand for bizarre antique collector's items. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vampire-Inspired Kitchen Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/garlic-crusher.md) - [Chilling Filmic Scents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heretic-parfum-nosferatu.md) - [Life-Size Casket Coolers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casket-cooler.md) - [Supernatural Non-Alcoholic Elixirs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pathfinder-hemp-and-root.md) - [Dark Vampire-Series Apparel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vampire-slayer-collection.md) - [Globalized Spooky Destinations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spooky-adventures.md) - [Garlic-Infused Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cravenproof-edition.md) - [Fake Tomato Sauce Blood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heinz-tomato-blood-ketchup-1.md) - [Horrifying Paranormal Vodkas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paranormal-reserve.md)
