Dorte Mandrup Architecture turned former Copenhagen dance hall Valencia into a modern office space for the [Association of Danish Law Firms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/champ-libre-association). The five-story building now features two floors of administration offices and three upper floors of apartments.

Dorte Mandrup unified the three buildings and added an aluminum structure inside the 19-century dance hall in order to make the space functional while also showing off the building's original interior. The office space in the old Valencia are now a bright yellow that adds a renewed sense of life to the space.

The converted Valencia dance hall is a good example of [reclaimed space](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/burr-studio) that allows for the repurpose of meaningful spaces. The office features unique contemporary design aspects while also championing staples of modern offices such as [open concept workspace](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kinzo-architekten) and creative lighting that doubles as aesthetically pleasing decor.
