It is made up of cocoon-like structures that were actually inspired by surrounding bird habitats, hence its name. Located in The Town of Vail, Colorado, the Vail Nest playground was created as part of the [artist-commissioned park series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/play-pavilion-1) and program. Designed by tres birds workshop, the Vail Nest playground is made up of three main 'nests' that are connected via ropes, bridges and even a climbing wall. It is made using a variety of wood species and stainless steel mesh fabric. Treated with nontoxic finishes, the Vail Nest playground provides a fun distraction for children of all ages as well as capabilities.
