Securely planted in the ground, the [inverted metal and wood pyramids](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pyramid-hut) give a feeling of being in a tree house. Each of the [pre-fabricated units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drop-pod) has a floor space measuring 16' x 16' and offers spectacular views of the [lush tropical jungle environment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-lodging-in-the-pige) through openings on all sides. Due to the shape of the shelters and their pre-fab construction, little disturbance of the land was required as they were more or less spiked into the ground like a giant lawn dart. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 75% | Activity: 73% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Eco-tourism:** Opportunity for sustainable and eco-friendly accommodations in natural environments. - **Prefab Construction:** Potential for efficient and cost-effective building methods that minimize disruption to the land. - **Alternative Shelter Design:** Innovation in unconventional structures that provide unique experiences for travelers. ### Where This Applies - **Hospitality:** Creating eco-friendly and immersive accommodations for tourists. - **Architecture:** Developing sustainable and innovative building methods for eco-friendly constructions. - **Tourism:** Offering unique experiences and environmentally conscious stays to adventurous travelers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Geometric Structural Forest Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/c-house.md) - [Sustainable Canopy Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-solai.md) - [Nature-Immersive Tranquil Resorts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/treehouse-villas.md) - [Nature-Shared A-Frame Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kumiki-architects.md) - [Repurposed Wooden Shoreside Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tree-house-by-the-lake.md) - [Brutalist Jungle Sanctuaries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/john-dessarzin-jungle-sanctuary.md) - [Wooden Screen Stacked Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-vjc-iporanga.md) - [Eco-Friendly Luxury Villas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/land-villas.md) - [Suspended Connected Cabin Hotels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zeuhary-hospedaje-campestre.md)
