In order to create the UVC light robot, the [CSAIL](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mouthio) lab at MIT worked in collaboration with AVA Robotics. The team of researchers also indicated that the autonomous robot could help to keep communal spaces clean, including factories, restaurants, and more. The robot was tested at the [Greater Boston Food Bank](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/virtual-tour1) warehouse, where it was able to remove nearly all of the coronavirus particles on surfaces at the location.
