# Velcro Headgear Use Your Head To Find Lost Remotes (Bizarre) By kyosuke0603 | Published 2007-03-03 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/use-your-head-to-find-lost-remotes References: [ohgizmo](http://www.ohgizmo.com/2007/03/01/want-to-impress-the-ladies-wear-all-your-gadgets-on-your-face/) & [americaninventorspot](http://www.americaninventorspot.com/lost_remotes) Multimedia Remote Control Wrangler is an unorthodox headgear with a [Velcro](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/color-coded-packaging)-like material where you could attach and detach any small hand-held device especially remote controls. It comes in two styles “Retro Sportsman” (minus the 'fro) and “Antique Olive “. So no more digging under seat cushions through Doritos and pizza crumbs searching for the remote you had just a while ago and have a head start on tuning for your favorite prime-time TV series. **Implications** - This strange velcro headgear is certainly not interested in marrying function and style, but its level of practicality is unmatched. While most consumers would be reluctant to step out in the public sphere wearing the multimedia remote control wrangler, it is the perfect accessory for those loopier television owners who can't seem to remember just where they put the remote. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 17% | Activity: 37% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Sports](https://www.trendhunter.com/sports) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Velcro Headgear for Remote Controls:** The use of velcro headgear to hold and easily find small remote controls offers opportunities for the fashion and tech industries. - **Unconventional Wearable Tech:** The development of wearable tech like the multimedia remote control wrangler provides opportunities for innovation in the fashion and tech industries. - **Practicality Over Style:** The trend of prioritizing practicality over style in wearable tech products presents opportunities for disrupting the fashion industry. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Fashion:** The fashion industry can develop more innovative and stylish wearable tech accessories, such as headgear that can hold small remote controls. - **Technology:** The development of unconventional wearable tech products, like the multimedia remote control wrangler, provides new opportunities for the tech industry. - **Consumer Electronics:** Consumer electronics companies can branch out into unconventional products, like velcro headgear to hold small remote controls, to differentiate and stand out in the market. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wearable Athlete Smartphone Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/easy-control-wearable-remote.md) - [T-Shaped Remote Controls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sightless-remote-control.md) - [Remote-Holding Streaming Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pop-art-tv-box.md) - [Transforming TV Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/controller-and-remote.md) - [Wearable VR Headsets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-vr-cap.md) - [Brain-Protecting Wearable Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brainprotecting-wearable-device.md) - [Wearable Gesture Control Remotes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/universal-wearable-controller.md) - [Intuitive Touchscreen Remote Controls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/touchsense-remote.md) - [Accessibility-Focused TV Watching Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vision-buddy.md)
