On April 3rd, Chicago will host a food-centric exhibit called the 'US Pizza Museum.' Although pizza is a traditional Italian dish, the savory pie has become a staple for many Americans. This museum celebrates the legacy of pizza in America with all sorts of pizza-themed memorabilia.

The US Pizza Museum is the brainchild of Kendall Burns, who has been collecting pizza-themed artwork for quite some time. Burns will be putting his collection on display as part of Chicago's 30-day-long Pizza Summit, which brings together pizza aficionados from all over. While the museum is not permanent, the exhibit will be temporarily housed inside the [Chop Shop](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kumagaya) restaurant, which is attached to Chicago's Wicker Park. As far as what visitors can expect to see, the exhibit will feature a wide variety of pizza-themed items, including toys, menus, advertisements and artwork.
