This year, Duro-Aina Adebola, Akindele Abiola, Faleke Oluwatoyin and Bello Eniola created the urine-powered generator, which has the ability to isolate and purify the hydrogen particles in the urine to produce electricity. This mechanism can run up to six hours with one liter of urine, which is quite a lot considering it usually gets flushed down the toilet anyway.
