# Presidential Toilets As Art Take a Leak on George Bush By Ayman | Published 2008-10-30 | Unique Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/urinal-george-bush References: [inventorspot](http://inventorspot.com/articles/would_you_like_to_piss_on_george_bush_this_just_in_19093) After eight long years of idiocy the world has had enough of George Bush. At least Sorensen has had enough; the artist wanted to vent his frustration through this [controversial piece of art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snowflake-exhibition), the ‘[Presidential Toilet](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/design-changes-everything)’. Sorensen will be offering a sneak ‘pee-view’ of the piece on election night at his San Francisco studio. Visitors are encouraged to give ol’ George what he deserves: a good flush down the drain. Sorensen will also have a [one-man show](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whataburger-museum-of-art) entitled “Down The Drain - The Legacy of George W. Bush” that runs from January 17 to February 16, 2009 at Ruby’s Clay Studio and Gallery in San Francisco. If you’re in the area, make sure to drop by and give it a wee look. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 19% | Activity: 63% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Bizarre](https://www.trendhunter.com/bizarre) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Controversial Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Exploring unconventional, provocative art forms to challenge societal norms and stir public discourse. - **Political Satire:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Leveraging humor and satire to critique political figures and engage audiences in social and political commentary. - **Interactive Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Creating immersive art experiences that encourage audience participation and provoke emotional responses. ### Where This Applies - **Art and Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introducing unconventional art styles and mediums to redefine traditional artistic expressions. - **Event Planning:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Organizing unique and politically-charged exhibitions to attract diverse audiences and promote dialogue. - **Social Commentary:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Using art as a tool for social critique and sparking conversations about political issues and leadership. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Illuminated Public Artful Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hiroo-east-park.md) - [Brutalist Smart Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/formation-02.md) - [Artful Elevated Litter Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/doggy-bathroom-1.md) - [Poop-Themed Game Day Ads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/poop-on-super-bowel-monday.md) - [Satirical Political Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/thoughts-prayers-toilet-paper.md) - [Lavatory Travel Guides](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/encycloopedia.md) - [Ocean Purity Petitons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-dirty-protest.md) - [Spoof Sparkling Water Cans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/can-of-art.md) - [Pet-Friendly Presidential Stays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/presidents-day-packages.md)
