Through these initiatives, the firm showcased how thoughtful design can transform ordinary public infrastructure into vibrant community assets. Both projects exemplify the studio's ability to navigate complex urban constraints while injecting elements of delight and human connection into the built environment. Min Design's urban placemaking work on the China Basin Park restrooms reimagines what is typically a purely functional facility into an opportunity to promote social equity and environmental sustainability.
