This charming proposal for [indoor planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/planter-300) positions its flower pots precisely where you can tend to them most comfortably. Designed out of practicality and with a sculptural flair, these elegant items have interlocking cement bases that allow them to sit sturdily within your home or on your [balcony or patio](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balconyfarm-planter). From here, eight strips of ash wood have been steam bent and laminated to make the bowing stems of the Urb Garden units. These cradle [fiberglass concrete capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tilt-planter) like beautiful blooms that contain aluminum removable containers. The Sebastien Voerman and co. product truly makes domestic gardening more accessible and appealing by sowing landscape and sculpture as one seed. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.8/10 - Popularity: 2% | Activity: 14% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Vertical Gardening:** The Urb Garden's vertically stacked planters encourage more accessible indoor and outdoor gardening. - **Sustainable Materials:** The use of ash, fiberglass, and aluminum in the Urb Garden showcases the potential for sustainable design in home goods. - **Functional Sculpture:** By incorporating a sculptural element into indoor gardening, products like Urb Garden demonstrate the potential for functional art in home design. ### Where This Applies - **Home and Garden:** The Urb Garden introduces an innovative element to home gardening and opens up opportunities for creative indoor and outdoor landscaping. - **Sustainable Design:** The use of eco-friendly materials in Urb Garden highlights the potential for sustainable design in the home goods industry. - **Functional Art:** Urb Garden's blend of practicality and sculptural flair showcases potential growth in the functional art industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vibrant Dynamic Wall Plant-Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floos.md) - [Uniquely Shaped Self-Watering Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/self-watering-plant-house.md) - [Building Block Gardening Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-planterior.md) - [Self-Watering Compact Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/patella-crescenda.md) - [Chic Self-Watering Garden Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glowpear-mini-bench.md) - [Basket-Inspired Smart Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bloom-engine-spot.md) - [Furniture-Inspired Indoor Gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/indoor-garden-system.md) - [Illusory Planter Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rooted-planter.md) - [Portable Minimal Smart Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balconyfarm-planter.md)
