Combined with the city lights, the clouds rolling over the Windy City are reminiscent of the curse encapsulating the fictional town of Storybrooke, Maine in ABC's Once Upon a Time. The magical images explore Salisbury's hometown from a variety of perspectives. In some we are looking up at the sky with the looming skyscrapers of urban Chicago towering above us. In others we are above the majestic fog, seeing all the city lights expanding into the horizon. The symmetrical compositions are not only beautifully hued, but also add an interesting visual element to high rise buildings not clouded in fog. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 23% | Activity: 14% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/fashion) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/stylephotography) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Polar Vortex-induced Fog:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Developing advanced weather technology to predict and track polar vortexes and their effects on urban environments, providing valuable insights for city planners and businesses. - **Cityscape Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Creating AI-powered photography software that automatically enhances and edits cityscape photos, saving time for professional photographers and enhancing the visual appeal of urban imagery. - **Symmetrical Compositions:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Designing a virtual reality platform that allows users to create and explore immersive symmetrical compositions in digital art and architecture, pushing the boundaries of creative expression. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Weather Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Developing advanced weather technology to predict and track polar vortexes and their effects on urban environments, providing valuable insights for city planners and businesses. - **Photography Software:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Creating AI-powered photography software that automatically enhances and edits cityscape photos, saving time for professional photographers and enhancing the visual appeal of urban imagery. - **Virtual Reality:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Designing a virtual reality platform that allows users to create and explore immersive symmetrical compositions in digital art and architecture, pushing the boundaries of creative expression. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Digital City-Inspired Art Works](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grand-central-station.md) - [Public Art Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paul-anthony-smith.md) - [Illuminated Curtained Light Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/making-the-invisible-visible.md) - [Blurry Abstract Photography Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/optical-allusion.md) - [AI-Generated Real-World Transformations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-generated-world.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [Laser-Cut Urban Artistry](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/laser-cut-city-maps.md) - [Immersive Light Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spencer-finch.md) - [Eclipse-Themed Rooftop Artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arc-zero.md)
