This light fixture has a pretty [minimalist aesthetic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delite-20) that has been given some personality by its treelike shape and sweaterlike shade. Created by Italian designer Mario Mazzer for lighting manufacturer Lucente, the UP Floor Lamp is suitable for both indoor and [outdoor use](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kinno) considering that it is completely made of polyethylene. Crafted using rotational molding technologies, it takes on a very [geometrical form](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-drape-light). Instead of having a bold and sharp presence, the UP Floor Lamp is rather soft and elegant. The entire lamp also glows when turned on. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.3/10 - Popularity: 63% | Activity: 28% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Minimalist Lighting:** Opportunity for creating lighting fixtures with a minimalistic aesthetic that add personality and warmth to any space. - **Outdoor Lighting:** Opportunity for designing lighting fixtures suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, providing versatility and functionality. - **Soft and Elegant Design:** Opportunity for crafting lighting fixtures with a soft and elegant presence, adding a touch of sophistication to any environment. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** Opportunity for home decor companies to create and market lighting fixtures that combine minimalist design with cozy and warm elements. - **Outdoor Furniture:** Opportunity for outdoor furniture manufacturers to expand their product lines by including lighting fixtures that are both functional and stylish. - **Interior Design:** Opportunity for interior designers to incorporate soft and elegant lighting fixtures into their designs, creating a harmonious and sophisticated atmosphere. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Umbrella-Inspired Whimsical Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wasaga-lamp.md) - [Opulent Outdoor Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gubi-seine-portable-lamp.md) - [Hollow Candle-Like Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lampe.md) - [Recycled Leather Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corium-standing-floor-lamp.md) - [Sculptural Lunar Lighting Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonsetter-floor-lamp.md) - [Sculptural Wooden Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arc-lamp.md) - [Ambient Exterior Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-solvinden-floor-lamp.md) - [Soft Comfort Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soft-lamp.md) - [Cutesy Coiled Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-helix-lamp.md)
