It boasts a [sculptural look](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solidnature-x-wandler) that has a gradual height design language through the sloped shape of the wedge, which allows it to fit most doors. It is a [single-piece design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uno-collection-1) made from SBR rubber materials. Martin notes that “Magnus knew I was looking for a new project and put a quick sketch on a door wedge on my desk. It was a nice beautiful, sculpted wooden door wedge. This made me appalled. I’m the designer, so why is he provoking me by designing this? I simply had to do something better. In this furious state, I used the negative energy to create my own door wedge. And I beat his on all levels, quite convincingly. Mine is better, more refined, more functional, more interesting, and even more beautiful.” Image Credit: Massproductions ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 20% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 14% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Sculptural Door Wedges:** Opportunity for designers and manufacturers to create unique, aesthetically pleasing door wedges that also serve a functional purpose. - **Single-piece Door Wedge Design:** Potential for streamlining production and reducing costs by creating door wedges made from a single material or using a single production process. - **Materials Innovation for Door Wedges:** There is potential for experimentation with materials such as eco-friendly alternatives or recycled materials to create a more sustainable door wedge. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture and Home Decor:** Opportunity for businesses in this industry to create and market aesthetically pleasing door wedges as a unique and practical accessory. - **Manufacturing:** Developing innovative production methods for door wedges that can reduce costs and improve efficiency. - **Sustainability:** Innovation in material science for door wedges can create more sustainable products that align with the growing consumer demand for eco-friendly options. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sleek Scandinavian Home Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-little-things.md) - [Sculptural Door Hardware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/edge-door-handle.md) - [3D-Printed Door Gear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ross-lovegroves-door-handles.md) - [Artful Sculptural Objects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/massproductions-x-arket.md) - [Bold Wooden Hardware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wide-guy-door-pull.md) - [Utilitarian Design Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dpartment.md) - [Innovative Customizable Door Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/customizable-door-system.md) - [Wall Art Umbrella Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/justin-case.md) - [Intuitive Entryway Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-front-stool.md)
