Cycling shops are rarely hubs for architectural innovation, but [United Cycling](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/summer-sunset) in Copenhagen redefines what a bicycle store should look like. Designed by Johannes Torpe Studio, this unique retail space invites customers into a laboratory-style space. Complete with illuminated white walls and mechanical hoists, the United Cycling store offers an incredibly [futuristic showroom](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deji-plaza-phase-ii) that encourages customers to "inspect, touch and admire the bicycles for their technical superiority."

The space also plays host to a workshop, bike-fitting area, as well as a number of meeting rooms and canteen for staff. All of the rooms maintain the lab-like aesthetics with simple concrete flooring and illuminated white walls. The concept behind the space was to showcase the technological innovation behind the bicycles shown in the shop while creating a tactile space for customers to observe and purchase their next ride.
