# Compact Minimalist Vases Let Your Flowers Be the Focal Point with This Unique Vase by Fuji By Vasiliki Marapas | Published 2013-09-13 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unique-vase References: [mocoloco](http://mocoloco.com/archives/029220.php) & [newsfiber](http://www.newsfiber.com/p/s/h?v=Ehvv9iY09bwc=) The New [Fuji](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trunkhotel-cat-street) Vase by [Studio Toer](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iza-vase) is a unique vase that allows the entire flower stem to be free. The vase is only seven centimeters high, but its wide, triangular base allows the flower to keep its balance easily. The Fuji vase allows the flower to either stand upright or on its side, depending on which way it wants to go. The end result is a vase that doesn't take the attention away from the flower, which is almost entirely visible. If you’re an avid flower-lover, you’ll love this cool, understated vase. It comes in a variety of modest colors such as muted pink and steel gray. The [minimalist design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-glassware) of the Fuji vase proves that something doesn't have to be super intricate to be cool. The genius behind the vase is its simplicity! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.2/10 - Popularity: 59% | Activity: 29% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Compact Vases:** Opportunity for compact vases that emphasize the beauty of flowers without overshadowing them. - **Minimalist Design:** Opportunity for minimalist designs that prove simplicity can be cool and appealing. - **Unique Vase Designs:** Opportunity for unique vase designs that allow flowers to maintain their natural balance. ### Where This Applies - **Floral Industry:** Opportunity for the floral industry to offer compact vases that enhance the beauty of flowers. - **Home Decor Industry:** Opportunity for the home decor industry to embrace minimalist designs that appeal to a wide range of consumers. - **Interior Design Industry:** Opportunity for interior designers to incorporate unique vase designs that add artistic flair to spaces while highlighting flowers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Miniature Cylindrical Flower Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hanakubari.md) - [Floating Stem Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lotus-effect-vase.md) - [Minimalist Illusory Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vaso-gota-vase.md) - [Jewelry-Holding Flower Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mirror-vase-stand.md) - [Personalized Floral Grid Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grid-vase.md) - [Affordable Designer Vase Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-vase.md) - [Minimalistic Feline-Inspired Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cat-silhouette-vase.md) - [Japanese Culture-Honoring Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/watoji.md) - [Greenery-Inspired Textured Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/leaf-textured-ceramic-vase.md)
