The ribbon spans a vast 547 yards, which gives it ample space to play with the surrounding landscape. In addition to providing navigation throughout the park, red ribbon serves as seating, a place to host lighting and a barrier to keep people on the walking path and away from trampling the natural areas of the park. The ribbon is constructed of fiberglass and it varies in width throughout the park. Like a ribbon, its shape is fluid and organic, which makes this Chinese park a unique one to visit. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 57% | Activity: 71% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) > [Eco Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/ecoarchitecture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Unique Wayfinding Systems:** Opportunity to create innovative and visually appealing navigation solutions in various environments. - **Multi-functional Structures:** Potential for developing structures that serve multiple purposes, such as seating, lighting, and barriers. - **Fluid and Organic Design:** Demand for designs that incorporate natural elements and create a seamless integration with the surrounding landscape. ### Who This Affects Most - **Architecture and Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in creating unique, multi-functional structures for different settings. - **Tourism and Hospitality:** Opportunity to attract visitors by offering distinctive and immersive experiences through innovative wayfinding systems. - **Parks and Landscaping:** Potential for creating captivating and sustainable designs that enhance the visitor's interaction with nature. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ribbon-Like Riverfront Parks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/belvedere-park.md) - [Ribbon-Like Dynamic Structures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/capital-international-exhibition.md) - [Donut-Shaped Meteorological Balloons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woven-gateway-and-sky-ring.md) - [Abstract Colorfully Vibrant Playscapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wired-scape.md) - [Colorful Municipal Recreational Facilities](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vibrant-sports-park.md) - [Terraced Urban Landmarks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/go-park-sai-sha.md) - [Red-Painted Steel River Parks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/papaloapan-river.md) - [Music-Inspired Enlivening Parks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orchestra-park.md) - [Spirally Viewpoint Bridge Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/g-clef-bridge.md)
