Designed by architectural firm Duque Motta, the unique campus design was created in a way to both showcase and blend the sharp design lines of the structure. Looking a little bit like what a [LEGO](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/innovation-campus) building would look like, the desert-colored palette building imitates its surroundings to magically [blend in with the rugged landscape](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/el-pastizal). One of the unconventional buildings is designed with lots of asymmetrical scattered square windows on the outside and wide airy spaces on the inside. Overall, the contemporary structure is an architectural feat that both students and faculty can enjoy. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.6/10 - Popularity: 6% | Activity: 5% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: South America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Desert-inspired Architecture:** Opportunity to create unique and sustainable buildings that blend with natural surroundings. - **Asymmetrical Design:** Opportunity to use asymmetry as a design element to create visually stunning structures. - **Contemporary Campus Design:** Opportunity to create modern campuses that inspire students and faculty alike. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Architecture:** Opportunity for architectural firms to experiment with new design elements and create structures that blend with the environment. - **Education:** Opportunity for universities to invest in new campus designs that promote innovation and creativity. - **Sustainability:** Opportunity to incorporate sustainable design practices in building construction for a better future. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Clustered Natural Campus Extensions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hongik-university.md) - [Coastal Chilean Eateries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mareida.md) - [Chilean Hillside Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-in-three-heights.md) - [Welcoming Prefabricated Student Housing](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ignacio-prego-architectures.md) - [Monolithic Custom Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-catedral.md) - [Rammed-Earth Preschool Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spring-dales-public-school.md) - [Modern Blue-Accented Academic Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marie-esther-pavilion.md) - [Stone Building Auditoriums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/centre-de-congrs.md) - [Ancient Construction Campus Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/faroe-islands.md)
