Most bird owners prefer to keep a certain distance when it comes to birds and their meals. The ‘Cage Archibird’ according to Laforrest was designed to “break conventional codes.” The unique bird cage design allows bird owners to view their [small pet birds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/perchcare) in a very uncommon way—it’s easy to place a bird cage on a table, but it’s not often a table is the bird cage. Made from solid oak, the table is compromised of tension cables and glass enclosures along with some [faux tree branches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heir-and-a-spare) made from steel. The unique bird cage design doesn’t just offer aesthetic appeal, but it’s also an ingenious way of saving space. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 38% | Activity: 10% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Unconventional Pet Displays:** Opportunity for designing unique or eccentric displays for small pets to break from traditional cages and housing. - **Multi-functional Furniture:** Opportunity for creating furniture pieces that serve more than one purpose, such as furniture that doubles as an animal enclosure. - **Space-saving Animal Housing:** Opportunity for designing animal enclosures that don't take up much room or can be tucked away into existing furniture pieces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Manufacturing:** The opportunity to create furniture that serves multiple functions like doubling as an animal enclosure. - **Pet Products:** Opportunity for creating innovative and multi-functional pet housing whether it be furniture or other pet accessories. - **Interior Design:** Opportunity for creating innovative and functional animal displays that complement existing home decor and start conversations. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Interactive Observation Wooden Birdhouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/domik-ptashki.md) - [Highly Functional Bird Feeders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ori-bird.md) - [Modernism Birdhouse Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dwellings-project.md) - [Bird-Inspired Speaker Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/birdinspired-speaker.md) - [Educational Linoleum Birdhouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elvi-birdhouse.md) - [Wooden Minimal Nesting Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nesting-boxes.md) - [Sustainable Bird House Feeders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bamboo-bird.md) - [Minimal Bird-Watching Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hide-cabin.md) - [Feather-Safe Bird Scales](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/perchcare.md)
