With mounting concerns from the public surrounding climate change and pollution, many brands have created products that focus on sustainability and upcycling, including iconic fast-fashion brand [Uniqlo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uniqlo-8).

Its new collection will include materials made from recycled plastic bottles in addition to jackets made from [recycled down](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/everpuff). To complete the sustainable collection, Uniqlo partnered with [Toray](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uniqloc-fw25), a Japanese manufacturer focused on eco-friendly development. Consumers can expect to see this new sustainable line in the 2020 spring/summer collection with materials such as sweat-wicking Dry-Ex made from recycled polyester fibers.

As buyers' purchasing behavior begins shifting from the fast-fashion consumption model to a more eco-conscious purchasing paradigm, we should expect to see more products and services aligned with these sustainable values.
