UniLeaks is a brand new Australian-based website looking to shed some light on the state of higher education around the world. Similar to [WikiLeaks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-ordinary-x-uncommon), whistle-blowers are encouraged electronic drop box. Once approved, site's journalists will then turn them into news stories. The creators are adamant about submissions being accurate and honest, and refuse to publish anything they deem to be "rumor, opinion, other kinds of first-hand accounts or material that is publicly available elsewhere."

The UniLeaks website has been created with the hopes of providing a safe space for students to share information about their universities and colleges. I haven't seen any crude or salacious information being shared on the site just yet, but it's refreshing to see an open forum of this type come to fruition.
