These images often show an obscure relationship with [everyday objects such as a chair](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/atypical-chair) or a broom, as seen above. I love his [fat house sculpture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-into-darkness), which looks a bit like like a blob from 'Ghost Busters.' Just look at the video above: It speaks too! These pieces of art by Erwin Wurm make me smile. Thus far, we have only covered one aspect of this great artist’s work--[see his fat cars](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artist-erwin-wurm-fat-car-art)--which prompted me to post a more thorough scope of his artistic talents. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.8/10 - Popularity: 97% | Activity: 100% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Unexpected Situation Photography:** Photographers can capture odd, awkward moments in daily life to create unique art pieces. - **One Minute Sculptures:** Artists can create 3D sculptures using unconventional everyday objects in unexpected ways. - **Fat Sculptures:** Artists can use exaggerated scale and proportions to create humorous and thought-provoking sculptures. ### Who This Affects Most - **Photography:** The photography industry can embrace unusual and awkward situations to create new forms of art and expression. - **Sculpture:** The sculpture industry can experiment with everyday objects and materials to create unique 3D art pieces. - **Art:** The art world can explore unconventional and humorous concepts, like Erwin Wurm's fat sculptures, to push boundaries and provoke thought. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Distorted Furniture Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/first-kiss-at-last-light.md) - [Surreal Love-Themed Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joakim-ojanen.md) - [Otherworldly Wooden Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-sculptures-1.md) - [Warped Georgian Townhouse Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-week-at-the-knees.md) - [Sizable Chair Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chair-installation.md) - [Performance Art Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bio-pop.md) - [Human Embraced-Inspired Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wallmounted-sculpture.md) - [Fantasy Sculptural Furniture Pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chris-wolston.md) - [Broken-Aesthetic Sculpture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brokenaesthetic-sculpture-collection.md)
